Keshi pearl necklace

Keshi pearls are a unique quirk of the pearl cultivating process, where a completely unexpected shape is formed around a bit of shell or mother of pearl that breaks off inside the shell. Instead of a round nucleus, the pearl is then formed around this ridged part, and gets a very unusual shape.

This golden pearl boasts an intense lustre fading from greenish gold, to purples, with a soft hazel undertone. It balances beautifully with the 18k gold chain.
